Restylane Botox Treatment
The Restylane Procedure
- A topical anaesthesia is appplied to the injection area. Complete a medical history sheet.
- Explanation of the Restylane procedure and it's effects on the face is discussed between the
client and the Aesthetic Nurse, followed by the signing of the consent form.
- Restylane is dermal filler made from pure Hyaluronic acide (identical to the Hyaluronic acide that
we produce in our own skin). It also contains minute plumping partciles that sit under folds in our skin -
it pushes the wrinkle to the surface, thus reducing it's appearance. It also acts like a magnet to
water, and holds 100 times it's own volume in fluid. This aids re-hydration of the skin that is treated
with Restylane dermal fillers
- A needle is applied to the Restylane syringe and is primed by depressing the plunger. The Aesthetic Nurse
will administer the product to the client with a series of small injections - and will finish by massaging
the product into the area of placement.
- The client will be instructed to reamin in ambient temperatures for a period of two weeks - avoiding very
hot or very cold temperatures.
